Work with a Wisconsin construction company that sees each project as a partnership, not just another job. Get started with Jos. Schmitt Construction, today.
Jos. Schmitt Construction started back in 1899 when you couldn’t rely on social media or a website to build your brand – it all came down to reputation and integrity. We still behave as if that’s the case. We are driven to have every interaction with us to be a positive one. We combine years of experience with advanced construction techniques to ensure cutting-edge work while creating long-lasting relationships.
Planning a project is rarely simple, but we try to make it as uncomplicated as possible. We listen, learn, develop, and execute. This is what our process typically looks like.
Jos. Schmitt Construction lives to make a client’s vision a reality. Whether that’s a community vision such as a new school, a bigger auditorium, or a state-of-the-art healthcare facility; or a business vision such as a restaurant, a bank building, or manufacturing expansion, we want to partner with our clients. Click through the different industries we’ve worked with to see just a few of the many projects we have completed.
Being a good corporate citizen is important to us. We want to support the communities we live and work in and we find that working with nonprofits is one way to accomplish this. We sometimes even assist with fundraising, where we connect donors’ passions to projects.
We also steward our company donor-advised fund known as “The Legacy Fund” here at Jos. Schmitt Construction for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations that we care about.
The formation of the Legacy Fund is the way in which we can give back to our community and share our prosperity as a growing construction enterprise. The fund has awarded over $600,000 in grants since 2007 with some of the past recipients of Legacy Fund grants being: Urban Middle, Lincoln-Erdman Elementary, Sheboygan Christian and Lake Country Academy Schools, Concordia University, Red Raider Manufacturing Project at Sheboygan Area Schools, Aurora Health Care, Plymouth Education Foundation, and Elkhart Lake – Glenbeulah Education Foundation.
