Jos. Schmitt & Sons Construction Co., Inc. is honored to be the contractor of choice for the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District. We have successfully completed the Elementary School project in 1992, the High School project in 1999, and we look forward to the opportunity to be a part of the team that works on the proposed Middle School project.
CEDAR GROVE BELGIUM MIDDLE SCHOOL
This was a 3 phase project with various starting and completion dates to accommodate the school during the school year. Phase I included 4 sub-phases consisting of new Administration addition, new girl’s main bathroom, new boy’s main bathrooms, new classroom additions which was completed during the school year. Phase II entailed building new science classrooms for each grade also completed during the school year. Phase III included a complete demo the existing classrooms and reconfiguration of those classrooms, renovation of the commons area, locker replacement, hallway renovations, Locker room renovations, new windows and exterior renovations which were all completed during the summer.
CEDAR GROVE BELGIUM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
This was a 2 phase project with the classroom addition completed during the school year and the renovation of the computer room completed during summer.
CEDAR GROVE BELGIUM HIGH SCHOOL
This was a 2 phase project which consisted of new addition for Metals shop, Auto and small Engines shop supported with offices, 3D Art room, bathrooms and storage spaces. These new additions were completed during the school year. A 2D art room and connecting passage ways were completed during the summer.
