New Construction

Aviation Heritage Center of Wisconsin

A pivotal community partnership with the Sheboygan County Aviation Corporation resulted in the development of the “Gateway to Aviation.”

Jos. Schmitt Construction played a leading role in the project’s success by heading a community fundraising campaign that secured over $1 million in private donations. The facility promotes aeronautical science through an aviation museum, education lab, and flight safety classroom.

To enhance the visitor experience, our team constructed an observation deck overlooking the active runways.

This project reflects our dedication to community-driven development and the preservation of Sheboygan County’s rich aviation history, providing a world-class resource for future generations of pilots.
