To support a growing campus in Mequon, Jos. Schmitt Construction delivered a five-story residential facility designed to maximize its prominent location on the Lake Michigan shoreline.

The project introduced a suite-style living model, prioritizing natural light through high-performance glass and two-story lounges with ambient fireplaces and lake views.

Our team managed the integration of sustainable features, including heat recovery systems, exterior shading devices, and green roof patios, while ensuring the new structure complemented the established campus architecture.

The result is an award-winning “live-and-learn” environment that successfully balances high-capacity student housing with energy-efficient design and specialized interior finishes suited for modern collegiate life.
