MilliporeSigma Distillation Building

The specialized addition to the distillation facility at MilliporeSigma’s Sheboygan campus required a structure built to the highest safety and fire-rating standards. To meet the rigorous requirements of a chemical processing environment, Jos. Schmitt Construction utilized high-performance precast concrete for the build-out.

The technical scope included seven new production modules, a mezzanine, and a dedicated airlock space to maintain strict atmospheric control. As a critical supplier to the global Life Science industry, MilliporeSigma required infrastructure that could support advanced pharmaceutical development.
