St. John's Lutheran Church & School

Jos. Schmitt Construction led the development of the Early Childhood Center at St. John’s Lutheran in West Bend. Our team provided vital preconstruction services and self-performed the concrete, masonry, and carpentry for the 18,000-square-foot, two-story addition.

The scope also included 3,000 square feet of remodeling to create a new gathering space and welcome center. The facility houses an infant daycare, toddler rooms, and offices on the first floor, with specialized classrooms and a resource center on the second. This expansion utilized a steel-joist and brick-veneer structure to deliver a durable, modern educational environment for the congregation.
