The American Club & Carriage House Renovations

Jos. Schmitt Construction completed a multi-phase interior renovation of The American Club, modernizing guest accommodations while preserving the property’s historic character.

The project was executed in two distinct phases to minimize disruption at the landmark destination. The initial phase focused on 109 guest rooms across the North, East, and Center wings. The subsequent phase included 45 room renovations and a new lobby within the Carriage House—home to the Kohler Waters Spa—along with five additional updates in the West Wing.
